Falling for Fabrics

I am so excited to share my recent selections of fabric samples that I came across at a Fall Fabric show.  Little by little my fabric selections have been trickling in and I am so thrilled with the possibilities. Every time a new box arrives it feels like Christmas.  As a decorator nothing is more inspiring than finding fabulous fabrics that can be combined and coordinated with other just as fabulous fabrics.  Here is a preview of some of the new additions to my fabric library, enjoy!

How gorgeous are the above fabrics?  Picture this velvety gold/creme flame stitch fabric on a sofa, complimented by pillows in both this textured cotton/linen which has hints of lavender, gold and creme running though it, and to add a little shimmer to the grouping this flesh colored textured fabric does the trick. 

I love, love, love this velvety blue denim fabric shown above, it is so soft.  As you get to know me you will come to realize I have a love affair with the color blue.  To me, it's almost a neutral.   I have coordinated this blue with this gorgeous velvet zigzag fabric which has charcoal, slate blue, creme and black running through it. And last but not least this silky taupe fabric would be perfect for window treatments and pillows. 

These fabrics scream Montauk, very bohemian. This combination has a very easy living feel to it. Picture this with a sisal rug, rattan accents, a creme sofa and it says beachy.  Oops, and notice how I managed to slip in some more blue, I can't help myself.
